On November 17th, 2011, in Phnompenh, Cambodia, Cambodia Vietnam Insurance Company (CVI) signed a US$600 million aviation insurance contract with Skywings Asia Airlines (Korea). The insurance contract will cover all the risks to plane body and third party liability (including luggage, goods transportation, passengers, pilots and crew). The contract signing ceremony was attended by all senior leaders of commercial presences of Bank of Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) in Cambodia, leaders of CVI and Skywings Asia Airlines.
At the cenemory, Mr. Steve Kim, General Director of Skywings Asia Airlines, appreciated the cooperattion and support of CVI in settling the insurance program on Skywings, especially in providing insurance services in time with Skywings’ receiving the plane from Turkey. In addition, Skywings will continue to trust and cooperate with CVI in development strategy in 2012, including equipping 2 more planes and opening new routes such as Cambodia/Vietnam, Cambodia/China…
